7 Meadow Rise

This project was an infill plot of land which already had planning permission secured for a four bedroomed detached dwelling with a single garage.  The plot was part of a larger development which was constructed in 2008.  The last two remaining plots had never been built.  The original design of the detached dwelling did not work and resubmitting for full planning was not an option.  We felt confident that we could make the original foot print work and a non-material amendment would be submitted to the local authority. Our brief was to work with in the original constrains of the building making only minor amendments to the design.  The bay window to the front was removed, the roof tweaked, and the internal layout remodelled to help create a beautiful space which would take advantage of the garden and view to the meadow.  At ground floor there was to be a kitchen diner to the rear with patio doors leading to the garden. The lounge was to be located at the front and a log burner installed.  At first floor there was to be a master bedroom with en-suite, family bathroom and two further bedrooms.  Then on the second floor a grand master en-suite bedroom would be created.  This then ensured there was minimum delay in getting the project started on site.
